Do you think black nail polish deducts from a professional image?

I’ve always been afriad to wear black in a professional office, but lately I have been seeing more and more in movies women wearing black nail polish.
What’s your take?
I think that in daily life, black nail polish is acceptable. I personally wouldn’t wear it in a buisness setting, but it depends on how formal the place is. I think if you were to be very professional do not wear nail polish at all unless it is clear. If you decide to wear black nail polish touch it up when it chips, because chipped nail polish is not professional.
